CEMB Hofmann UK Ltd is a specialist supplier of industrial balancing machines and systems across a wide range of sectors, including aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing. As part of the globally recognised CEMB Group, headquartered in Italy, we bring decades of precision engineering and innovation to the UK market.
We are a small, close-knit team in the UK with the backing and resources of a much larger international organisation. We are now looking to grow our sales team with the addition of a Sales Engineer who shares our passion for technical excellence and customer service.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to develop and grow our presence across selected regions in the UK. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and have a proven track record in technical sales. This is a remote role with regular travel expected across your designated territory, along with a monthly visit to our UK office. You will report directly to the UK Sales Manager and provide monthly updates to the Sales Director based in Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer relationships in assigned UK regions
- Identify and engage with new business opportunities
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales offers
- Use CRM to create opportunities, track progress, and maintain customer data
- Conduct market research and attend industry events, expos, and associations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Report on performance and KPIs to UK Manager and Italian Sales Director
- Providing weekly and monthly activity reports to the management team
- Daily calls to prospect to build and manage lead pipeline
- Prospecting via warm and cold calling, emailing, and social media networking
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Technically qualified – background in engineering, preferably aerospace
- Experienced in sales – ideally 3–5 years in technical or solution-based sales
- A strong communicator – both written and verbal
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing a varied schedule
- Willing to travel extensively within their designated region
- CRM-literate and highly organised
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing new skills
- Full UK driving licence

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Commission
